The power train of the vehicle has a clutch (5) interposed between the engine unit (2) and the gear box (6), in line and co-axial with the crankshaft of the engine and the primary shaft (7) of the gear box. The output shaft (9) of the gear box is connected to the two transmission shafts (3, 4), which are perpendicular to the crankshaft, by angled drive gear box (10), which contains a bevel pinion (13), driven by the gear box output shaft, and a crown gear wheel (14), mounted on the axis of the transmission shafts. The clutch housing (15) forms a vertical wall (20), which extends from the front face of the housing along the side of the engine, and which carries the crown wheel axis (Y- Y). This axis is situated close to the front face of the clutch housing, such that the crown wheel is located adjacent to the engine and is meshed with the output pinion, close to the clutch. |
