<p>PURPOSE: To obtain an ink for ink jet, containing a dye or a pigment dispersed with a nonionic surfactant and specific particles assuming anionic surfaces and hardly causing the bleeding and capable of forming a bright image. CONSTITUTION: This ink for ink jet is prepared by dispersing a dye or a pigment in a medium and contains (B) a dye or a pigment dispersed with (A) a nonionic surfactant e.g. the one having a structure of the formula [R1 is 1-30C alkyl or an aliphatic group; (1) and (n) are each an integer of 3-150; (m) is an integer of 0-20]} and (B) particles, having 0.005-0.5μm average particle diameter and 1-4wt.% concentration, preferably mainly comprising a silicon oxide and capable of assuming anionic surfaces. The dye or pigment of the component (A) has 0.1-3μm average particle diameter and the concentration is preferably 0.05-15wt.%. The ink preferably uses a fabric, etc., in which 0.2-50wt.% water-soluble metallic salt or polycationic compound is applied thereto as a medium to be recorded.</p> |
