<p>The brake is for footgear composed of a quarter (704) articulated to a shell. The shell is associated with a supporting frame (706) for one or more wheels. It includes a rod (709) connected to the quarter and slidingly associated with the shell. The rod has an end which, upon a rotation of the quarter, pushes toward the ground a brake (714), which is articulated to the frame.
