Method and appts. for recovery of noble metals from electronic scrap

Electronic scrap is subjected to heat treatment, at below-atmospheric pressure, to drive out evaporable components of nonmetal parts, and to embrittle the latter. The resultant material is then mechanically comminuted. Metals and nonmetals are sepd. by a first separation process. Different metals are sepd. from one another by a further sepn. process. Also claimed is an appts. for performing the above method.
