A household appliance comprises a main power-supply ON/OFF switch and a plurality of electric loads, and it is associated to a differential-type safety cutout arrangement provided in the power-supply line to the appliance, wherein said differential-type safety cutout arrangement is adapted to open said main power-supply ON/OFF switch and includes an element capable of sensing an unbalance condition of the current in the power-supply line, a control unit, and an actuator means controlled by said control unit and adapted to open said main power-supply ON/OFF switch. <IMAGE>
