PURPOSE: To promote to shorten the time for rice cooking by controlling a process for keeping the temp. of a rice-cooking container for a fixed period and a process wherein the temp. is successively kept at a higher temp. for a fixed period and the amt. of rice cooking is judged based on the heating time by a heating output controlling means. CONSTITUTION: A heating output controlling means 5 wherein a high frequency magnetic field of a heating coil 1 is controlled by an inverter controlling means 2 and the heating output of the inverter controlling means 2 is controlled based on the input electric current of this inverter controlling means 2, electric power data obtd. from the electric source voltage or the temp. data of a rice-cooking container 3 heated by means of the heating coil 1 is provided. As controlling actions of the heating output controlling means 5, a first preheat processing process for keeping the temp. of the rice-cooking container 3, a second preheat processing process following successively this first preheat processing process for keeping the temp. of the rice-cooking container 3 at a higher temp. than that for the first preheat processing process and a third processing process for judging the amt. of rice cooking in the rice-cooking container 3 based on the heating time in this second preheat processing process or on the integrated data of electric power are executed. |
