PRODUCTION OF CYCLOOLEFIN

摘要

PURPOSE: To produce a cycloolefin in an effective and a highly selective manner. CONSTITUTION: A cycloolefin is produced by partially hydrogenating a monocyclic aromatic hydrocarbon in the presence of a carrierholding catalyst carrying ruthenium and water. An oxide carrier having a total volume of fine holes having diameters of 75-100,000Åof 0.2-10ml/g and the volume of fine holes having diameters of 250-1,500Åin an amount of >=50% of the total volume is used as the carrier.
