PURPOSE: To enable user's desirable label printing to be conducted on the surface of a write-once type media by transferring image information exposed on the photosensitive paper to an accepting layer formed on the surface of a write-once type media. CONSTITUTION: The donor 20 is dropped with water 21 on its surface in an exposure process and exposed by an exposure lamp via original film with image information to be printed while being heated from its underside by a heating source 22. In this manner, coloring matters 20b in the exposed part of a photosensitive agent are isolated and deposited on the surface of the donor 20. In the transfer process, water is applied to the surface of the donor 20, and thereafter the donor 20 is brought into close contact with an accepting layer 11 formed on the surface of an optical disc 10 and heated by a heating source whereby to develop the donor 20. Thus, the coloring matters 20b exposed and deposited among color elements contained in an photosensitive agent applied on the donor 20 are absorbed and fixed in the accepting layer 11 of the optical disc 10. As a result, image information is transferred to the accepting layer 11 of the optical disc 10. |
