A strap fastening 40 comprises a head portion 44 having an aperture 46 therethrough for a body portion 42, the head portion having in the aperture 46 and extending transversely thereof, a flexible member 56 having a first portion 52 which extends into the aperture 46 to partially block the same, and a second portion 54 retained in the head portion the free end 56 of the first portion 52 being formed to engage the body portion 42 when the latter is passed through the aperture 46 and the flexible member is flexed about the junction of the first and second portions. As shown the portions 52, 54 may be apertured or slotted at the line of transition from one area to the other, Figs. 6 and 7 (not shown) the portion 52 may be ribbed, Figs. 10 and 11 (not shown) or the two portions may be of different thicknesses or treated or processed differently. |
