<p>PURPOSE: To stably guide a magnetic tape cartridge to be inserted in a recording medium cartridge loading device. CONSTITUTION: A magnetic tape cartridge 31 is provided with step part 53 and 54 extended in an inserting direction Y on the left and right sides of its upper surface 52. A flap 121 closing an insertion port 120 is provided with projecting guiding parts 121a and 121b on both sides of its front face. The flap 121 is pressed and opened when the magnetic tape cartridge 31 is inserted, the guiding parts 121a and 121b are placed opposedly to the upper surface 52 of the magnetic tape cartridge 31 and the step parts 53 and 54 are guided. Thus, the position of the magnetic tape cartridge 31 is regulated from the stage immediately after its insertion.</p> |
