2-(2-Hydroxyphenyl)-4,6-diphenyl-1,3,5-triazines of formula (I), which contains at least 2 alkoxy substits., are new. in which R1 = H, OH, halogen, 1-15 C alkyl, 1-15 C alkoxy, -CO-CH2-CH(OH)-CH2-O-T (T = 1-8 C alkyl) or -O-Q-CO-O-R4 (Q = 1-4 C alkylene; R2, R3 = H, 1-15 C alkoxy or -O-CH2-CH(OH)-CH2-O-T; R4 = 1-5 C alkyl or 1-5 C alkoxy-(1-5 C)-alkyl; rings A, B, C may contains other substits.; (I) must contain at least two 1-15C alkoxy gps.
