PURPOSE:To feed the fuel gas and oxidant gas to individual cells at a uniform flow distribution in an internal manifold type fuel cell. CONSTITUTION:Gas feed/exhaust internal manifolds 2, 3 formed with a cell stack 1 stacked with multiple unit cells are connected to a manifold of gas headers 4, 5, 6 provided with multiple gas feed/exhaust pipes 7, 8, and the manifolds 2, 3 of the cell stack 1 are communicated with the upper gas header 4, intermediate gas header 6, and lower gas header 5. The flow decrease portion and flow increase portion due to a nonuniform feed flow are overlapped, and the gas flow fed to individual cells can be unified, and the battery performance is improved. |
