FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: proposed method of measurement of air resistance force acting on car or truck requires considerably less number of devices provides for higher accuracy of measurements and has other advantages as compared with method using wind tunnel. It consists in running of automobile with high uniform speed along platform having freedom of longitudinal movement and positioned in depression of roadbed and in measurement of reaction force between platform and rest located in depression of roadbed equal to air resistance force of automobile running along platform. EFFECT: higher accuracy of measurement of air resistance force acting on automobile. |
