The watch has a mass (3) which oscillates in ball-bearings (2) on a plate (1) and is fixed to a toothed wheel (4) in mesh with four pinions (5) on diametrically magnetised rotors (6) at 90 deg. spacing around the rim of the plate. Each rotor (6) lies between two pole pieces of a section (9) of an annular stator wound with a coil (10). The movement (13) of an existing watch can be fitted into a suitably sized recess (13) in the underside of the plate. |
