Circular saw with table for cutting wood

The circular saw is mounted on a table (1) above which is located a protective hood (3) containing a saw blade (2). A longitudinal stop (6) is removably fixed to the table to ensure parallel edge cutting. The stop has an adjustable support (7) attached to it on which an L-shaped stop rail (9) is removably fixed that has a contact face (8) which runs parallel to the direction of feed. A pressure device (13) operates in the gap between the contact face of the stop rail and the saw blade and has a pressure element at its end which bears down on the bar shaped workpiece (11). The pressure element is mounted vertically to the table and is acted upon by a spring slide (20). The spring slide is adjustable vertically to the table plane and is removably fixed on a mounting support (14) on the longitudinal stop.
