The vehicle floor panel (13) has an aperture (15) in which a plastic spare wheel trough (1) is fitted. The plastic trough has a flange (2) which sits above and around the aperture. Several elastically sprung arms (5) beneath the flange each have locking clips (6) which engage beneath the panel aperture edge. Ramps on the trough flange engage corresponding ramps (14) around the panel aperture.
