Supports for positioning at least two bone sections

The arrangement consists of at least two threaded rods (13,14;23-26;43) which are attached at one end to the bones which are to be positioned. The rods are attached to one another, at their centres or near the body of the patient, by a tie-rod (15;27;28) about the ends of which the rods can pivot. A clamp mechanism (17;29;45) is mounted between the other ends of the rods by means of which the ends can be pulled together or spread apart. Instead of two rods, one at each side, two rods can be mounted at each side to give improved positional control of the bone sections.
