<p>PURPOSE: To provide a paper feeding device that can immediately improve misoperation by clear indication on whether a separating claw positioned in a specified position coincides with a target position or not, so as to prevent defectiveness such as erroneous paper feeding. CONSTITUTION: A paper feeding device for feeding paper sheets 1, placed in a paper feeding tray 2, by separating them sheet by sheet by the cooperation of a feed roller and a separating claw 5 is provided with a bottom plate 3 vertically turnable toward a conveying direction while placing the paper sheets 1 stored in the paper feeding tray 2, a side fence 4 for regulating the width direction position of the paper sheets 1 stored in the paper feeding tray 2, the separating claw 5 rotatably fitted to the side fence 4 so as to separate the paper sheets 1 sheet by sheet, and an index 6 provided at the separating claw 5 so as to be able to confirm the width direction edge position of the paper sheets 1.</p> |
