<p>PURPOSE: To obtain a radar system by which an input signal is corrected by a method wherein a signal corresponding to a target signal is input from a test-signal input means, an AD-conversion-means output which has been stored in a buffer memory is sent to a counting and computing means and an offset compensation value is found. CONSTITUTION: A changeover switch 19 is changed over to a test-signal input means 18, a signal whose frequency is a little higher than that of a transmitted signal is sent to a reception means 4 from the means 18, and a test signal is converted into a video signal. An A/D conversion means 5 converts it so as to be stored in a buffer memory 6. A fast Fourier transform means 7 Fourier- transforms this data, it finds a peak frequency, and it decides the number of pieces of data on the basis of the peak frequency and on the basis of a sampling frequency by the means 5. A counting and computing means 20 reads out an input signal from the memory 6, it computes an offset compensation amount on the basis of the input signal and the number of pieces of data so as to be sent to a compensation means 21. The means 21 subtracts the compensation amount from the video signal so as to be corrected. Thereby, it is possible to suppress the degradation and the erroneous detection of a target signal.</p> |
