A removable fitting for increasing the security of bicycle users, whether for sports purposes or for touring purposes on the road. The fitting comprises a strong, lightweight shell (figs. 1 and 2) which is innovative in that it fits perfectly onto the hand of the user, on his or her glove or wrist (figs. 4, 5, 6, 7) so as to provide him or her with perfect and instantaneous rear vision (fig. 3) without having to look backwards.
