<p>The differential release is for use on four wheel drive vehicles, where the drive is transmitted to the four wheels (10), via an intermediary gearbox (14) which transmits the drive through the corresponding two drive shafts (12,13) to the rear axle (11) and the front axle (18). The mechanism is operated by a lever (36) inside the passenger compartment of the vehicle. The lever is supported through an articulated joint (38), in a tie beam (50) from the structure of the vehicle. The gear lever transmits the forces, applied by the user to the lever, to the sphere (39), at the lower extremity of the lever, and which displaces the transfer lever (37).</p> |
