The filter consists of a semi-rigid housing (2) which acts as a support, a channel (4) with a regulating valve (5), a mobile semi-rigid drawer (11) containing a diffuser (8), a filter (9) and grilles (10, 12), and a reservoir (18) containing a solution (17). The housing fits into the vehicle dashboard or central console. It has an outer grille (13) which can be flat, convex or concave. The filter can be of natural or synthetic fibres, and it can be pre-impregnated with a combined bactericidal, disinfectant and deodorant solution.
