Driver's cab for rail vehicle

The driver's cab (3) is for a rail vehicle to travel in either direction on a line on which there is no possibility of turning. It can be mounted on an overhang (2) at either end of the vehicle. The cab can be turned and moved along by a carrier arm with an axle box (5) on a guide tube (4). A turning drive enables it to be turned 90 deg to the side position. It is supported by a running roller (6) on the end of a turning arm (7), running on a running surface (8), so that it can be moved horizontally to the opposite end of the vehicle and brought into the use position by the turning drive.
