Sealing method for wooden closure in openings of wooden containers or concrete tanks

Tapered wooden closure (1) in openings of enclosed wooden containers and concrete tanks is sealed by a method in which the sealing material (4) extends completely over the face between the closure and the tank. Pref. the closure has two grooves (2) and the sealing material is attached strongly to the closure. Pref. the permanently elastic material is generally recognised as physiologically safe and meets German Federal health and safety office requirements for silicones.
