DIGITAL COMPUTER SYSTEM AND POINTER DECISION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decide a pointer not decided in a digital data processing system. SOLUTION: The system includes pointers not decided and a procedure to decide the pointers not decided in a memory of a digital computer system and includes a unit in a process of the digital computer system operated under the control of a pointer translation micro code to translate pointers into expressed addresses and a call return micro code to call the procedure from the micro code. The pointer translation micro core allows the call return micro code to call the procedure to decide pointers not decided to respond to the pointers not decided. This procedure obtains an address expressed by using a data item in the pointer not decided and returns it to the pointer translation micro code.
