<p>PURPOSE: To realize the stable driving by achieving the mutual connection with connecting shafts making use of the driven function of a governor type fall preventing device attached to each elevating frame of a carrier, realizing the simultaneous operation of each governor type fall preventing device by the connecting shafts, and synchronizing the driving machines by the connecting shafts to simplify the driving system. CONSTITUTION: In a rack type working elevator, a carrier 20 is stretched and supported between a pair of towers 10 which are erected with the prescribed intervals, and elevated/lowered by the engagement with a rack 11 provided on the towers 10. A governor type fall preventing device 30 is attached to each elevating/lowering frame 21 of the carrier 20 to be mounted on the tower 10, driven shaft 33 which are mutually connected to an input shaft 31 of the governor type fall preventing device 30 through a gear train 32 and driven are supported on a component frame body of a platform 22 of the carrier 20, and a driven wheel 35 to be engaged with the rack 11 is mounted on each end part of the driven shaft.</p> |
