FIELD: radio engineering. SUBSTANCE: travelling- wave aerial has resonance strip radiator manufactured in the form of rectangular metal plate with strip feeder placed on dielectric backing. Backing cover metal screen. Resonance strip radiator is exciter for dielectric rod put above its plane so that its butt completely overlaps plane of plate and is distant from it at distance Δ = (0,05-0,2)λ, where λis working length of wave. There is proposed another version of manufacture of rod in the form of pyramid which bigger base overlaps plane of rectangular metal plate of radiator and which smaller base is located at distance λfrom it. EFFECT: simplified design, diminished radiating surface of aerial, expanded functional capabilities. |
