PURPOSE: To prevent the defrosting operation from being started through an outdoor heat exchanger is not frosted by prohibiting the defrosting operation by a defrosting prohibiting means while an outdoor fan is turned off. CONSTITUTION: The defrosting is determined by a defrosting determining means 22 when the prescribed temperature difference in one cycle from the starting of the heating operation to the completion of the defrosting operation is detected by a temperature difference detecting means 21. The determination is received by a defrosting command means 24, and outputted to a four-way valve 3 through a four-way valve control means 25 to make the switching to the condition of the cooling operation. At the same time, the output is made to a drive motor 12 of an outdoor fan 7 through an outdoor fan control means 26 to stop the outdoor fan 7, and the output is made to a drive motor 13 of an indoor fan 8 through an indoor fan control means 27 to stop the indoor fan 8. While the indoor fan 7 is stopped, the defrosting operation is prohibited by a defrost prohibiting means 30. Deterioration of the air conditioning feeling by the wasteful defrosting operation is prevented thereby. |
