PURPOSE: To provide a portable telephone set capable of using both of large and small cards and suitable for the reduction of size in respect to a portable telephone set to be applied to GSM. CONSTITUTION: The portable telephone set is constituted of a housing having an aperture 54 into which a large card is to be inserted and an aperture 56 into which a small card is to be inserted, a printed wiring board unit 72 to be stored in the housing, an acceptor 46 to be used for both of large and small cards in common, and a contact means 66 to be brought into contact with an electrode of a card. |
