PURPOSE: To improve durability by preventing pitching and abrasion of a pinion gear and a side gear without reducing a differential limitting force. CONSTITUTION: A differential gear is provided with a differential case 3 which is rotatingly driven by the drive force of an engine, output side side gears 15, 17, at least, a pair of pinion gears 41, 43 having the first gear parts 45, 51 which are separately geared with the gears 15, 17 respectively and the second gear parts 47, 53 which are geared with each other, and storage holes 37, 39 which is formed in the differential case 3 and slidably and rotatably stores the gears 41, 43, and a coating layer of a solid lubricating material is formed on the gear face of the gears 41, 43.
