<p>The present invention relates to a transition sleeve for new pipe systems, such as drainage systems, fresh water or gas pipe systems. The invention is characterized in that at the ends of a pipe, for example at pipe-ends adjacent to manholes, a transition sleeve (8) is mounted, consisting of a fully or partly tapered sleeve (5), made of for example a rubber or plastic material, intended to be inserted in the end part of a pipe, inside of which sleeve is arranged a mounting mandrel (1), which is arranged to be expanded by means of air or hydraulics, thereby fixing lockrings (3, 9) in the sleeve.</p> |
