<p>1316445 Spray producers CIBA-GEIGY AG 22 April 1970 [23 April 1969] 19356/70 Heading B2F In a dispensing container a cap 3 and a valve housing 7 are held together in one embodiment by the mutual engagement of an annular flange 6a and an annular collar 10 both comprising frusto-conical ledges. In a second embodiment, Fig. 2 (not shown), the valve housing 7 has a ring of equidistantly spaced upwardly extending fingers (34) which engage a ring (32) depending from the cap. In a third embodiment, Fig. 3 (not shown), the fingers (41) depend from the cap and engage a collar (42) on the top (7a) of the valve housing 7. In the latter two embodiments the relative positions of the fingers and the ring or collar may be reversed. The container comprises a valve stem 5 which when depressed allows propellant from a cartridge 13 to flow through openings 30 and a bore 28 in the stem to a Venturi nozzle 17a thus aspirating a product which may be in a flexible bag, disposed around the cartridge 13, through a dip tube 27 and ducts 24.</p> |
