PURPOSE: To enable plural developing devices which are integrated into a process cartridge, to replace the developing device high in use frequency and reuse the developing device low in use frequency by means of a simple operation. CONSTITUTION: In the developing devices which are incorporated into the process cartridge 30, the developing devices 13(Y), 13(M), and 13(C) corresponding to yellow(Y), magenta(M), and cyan(C) are housed in a developing unit 300 which is separated from the process cartridge 30, and the developing device 13(K) corresponding to black(K) is housed in the main body of the cartridge 30 in which a photoreceptor drum 10 is housed. The developing unit 300 is integrated/ separated into/from the main body of the cartridge 30 by the engagement/ disengagement of a rail M1 member with/from a guide member N1. |
