INSTALLATION OF REINFORCING INSULATION CYLINDER ON CABLE

PURPOSE: To prevent bubbles from being left inside a reinforcing insulation cylinder and provide a method for installing the reinforcing insulation cylinder on a cable with an easy work. CONSTITUTION: This is a method for installing a reinforcing insulation cylinder 6 on a cable 1 in order to make the insulating layer thick for the cable to prevent the deterioration in a characteristic of the cable. The reinforcing insulation cylinder 6 which has an inner diameter a little larger than an outer diameter of the cable 1 is put on the cable 1 so that the cable 1 cannot be inserted due to memory caused by winding of the cable 1. Fused integration of the reinforcing insulation cylinder 6 and the cable 1 is conducted in sequence from one end 21 of the reinforcing insulation cylinder 6 toward the other end 23 and thereby no air is left over in an interface between the cable 1 and the reinforcing insulation cylinder 6.
