<p>PURPOSE: To provide a method and apparatus for producing a reclaimed polymer having a thermodynamically metastable structure whereby an odorless reclaimed polymer having good qualities and contg. no oily decomposition product is continuously produced. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus 1 produces a reclaimed polymer by thermally decomposing and gasifying a polymer material in a closed space under a reduced pressure and comprises a raw material storage section 2 to store the polymer material 7, a heating section 3 to thermally decompose the material 7 fed from the storage section 2, a recovery section 4 to cool and condense a vapor produced at the heating section 3 to give a reclaimed polymer, a deodorizing section 5 to heat the reclaimed polymer recovered at the recovery section 4 to evaporate and remove odorous unnecessary substances, and a pressure-reducing section 6 to reduce the pressure at least inside the heating section 3 and the recovery section 4.</p> |
