PURPOSE: To stop the generation of liquid compression or freezing in a compressor by preventing a drop in high pressure during cooling operation. CONSTITUTION: A temperature sensor 11 or a pressure sensor 12 is installed so as to detect the temperature or the high pressure of an outdoor heat exchanger 4. When the detected values of these sensors 11 or 12 are lowered more than a specified value during cooling operation, it is so arranged that a fan 7 may stop its operation to supply air to the outdoor heat exchanger 4 or lower its rotary speed.
