PURPOSE: To eliminate the need for confirmation of a reply result by a phone call by providing a means publicating a receipt sheet for reply to a sender in the communication equipment when the sender and a recipient receive specific image data. CONSTITUTION: Upon the receipt of image data in which a recipient and a return destination are specified by a recipient ID and a return destination FAX number or the like by a data reception section 21, which obtains a user name from the recipient ID via a user management section 22. Then a print section 23 receives an instruction to publicate a receipt sheet including the received of image data and also a recipient ID, a recipient name and a received date and time and a return destination obtained from a control section 28. Upon the receipt of a print instruction of the receipt sheet from the data reception section 21, the recipient ID, the receiver name, the arrival of a call (reception), date and time and the FAX number of the return destination are printed out at a predetermined position on the receipt sheet 60 by the print section 23, and the receipt sheet is publicated and the received image data are printed out. The return destination of the receipt notice is acquired by allowing a sheet recognition section 25 to recognize the receipt sheet. |
