PURPOSE: To provide a new structure for the air bag door section of a cabin side member, which can be surely ruptured when an air bag is expanded with no poor condition shown in appearance such as cracks and the like due to the deterioration and contraction of skins in the predetermined area of rupture when the thin predetermined area of rupture is formed in the skin of the cabin side member. CONSTITUTION: In the cabin side member integrally provided with a skin 22 formed with a predetermined area 25 of rupture which partitions an air bag door D over the upper surface of a synthetic resin foamed layer 21, a thin wall section 23 is formed in the back face side of the skin along the predetermined area of rupture, and a synthetic resin molded product 40 is closely interposed between the thin wall section and the synthetic resin foamed layer. |
