PURPOSE: To prevent a drive member and shift lever from jolting by providing a positioning projection for regulating the movement of a drive member in the selecting direction in the establishment of a second advance gear stage on a first fork shaft. CONSTITUTION: A retreat side engaging part 30 provided on a first for shaft 12 is provided integrally with a positioning projection 40 projecting to a second fork shaft 14 side to overlap a second advance side engaging part 34 in the selecting direction. A plate amount of a drive member 16 in the establishment of a second speed gear stage '2' is regulated to the same play amount in the establishment of a third speed gear stage '3'. Thus, the play of the drive member and shift lever in the establishment of the second advance gear stage adjacent to the retreat gear stage is restrained.
