PURPOSE: To produce a dielectric porcelain capable of being sintered into various dielectric parts containing inner electrodes at low temperature (the low temperatures not damaging the inner electrodes), easy in the control of the dielectric constant because of being little in the change of the dielectric constant, and expressing a high dielectric constant. CONSTITUTION: A method for producing a low temperature sintered dielectric porcelain comprises adding 3-20vol.% of a glass material to a calcined BaO- TiO2 -Nd2 O3 high dielectric constant material, controlling the average particle diameter of the powdery material to <=0.1μm, and subsequently calcining the controlled mixture at 880-1000 deg.C so as to give a relative density of >=95%. The high dielectric constant material has a composition comprising 10-16mol.% of BaO, 67-72mol.% of TiO2 and 16-18mol.% of Nd2 O3 as main components, and has a composition comprising 7-10wt.% of Bi2 O3 , and 0.3-1.0wt.% of Al2 O3 as auxiliary components. The glass material has a composition comprising 45-70wt.% of ZnO, 5-13wt.% of B2 O3 , 7-40wt.% of SiO2 , and 8-20wt.% of Al2 O3 . |
