PURPOSE: To forcibly eject an IC card to improve the operability by providing an engaging part in a part of a card taking-out member and engaging the engaging part with the front end part of the IC card to forcibly eject the IC card. CONSTITUTION: When an IC card 3 will be forcibly taken out from a reader/ writer, a stopper body 15 is extracted from a hole 14. The front end of a jig like a driver is inserted to the hole 14 to rotate a card taking-out bar 13, thereby detaching the bar 13 from a bar supporting member 57. Then, the bar 13 and a card hook 61 are momently separated from a stopper plate 62 by the repulsion of a coil spring 60, and a knob part 54 of the bar 13 projects from a front plate 2. In this state, a user pulls the bar 13 to this side with the knob part 54 in his hand to bring the card hook 61 into contact with the front end part of the IC card 3, and he pulls the bar 13 furthermore to reverse a roll pad 10 and a pressing roll, thus forcibly ejecting the IC card 3 from a card entrance/exit.
