Humerus-head prosthesis for orthopaedic surgery

The prosthesis has an adaptor (13) which can hinge on an axis(11) at the top end(7) of the stem(3), while extending downwards from this axis towards the other stems end(5). The head(17,19) can be turned on a central axis in the adaptor, which can be turned steplessly between angles of 40 and 55 deg. to the stem axis, being lockable in position. On the side furthest from the stem, the adaptor can have a convex face, on which the head, which has a neck, tilts steplessly, being lockable in position on the adaptor.
