PURPOSE: To prevent a voltage from being applied wastefully and to provide an image of high contrast by outputting an activation signal for a developing operation to a recording medium which performs electronic development on an image and synchronizing activation signal output with a light emission requiring timing based on judgement for requirement of stroboscopic light emission. CONSTITUTION: A system control circuit 20 controls every part, and performs exposure operation based on the photometric value of a photometric sensor 28 by turning on a release switch, and finds an exposure operation value E. Thence, the circuit 20 outputs a stroboscopic light emission requirement signal depending on whether the value E is larger than a prescribed value when automatic stroboscopic mode is selected. Thence, an exposure control circuit 27 sets by driving a diaphragm 12a and a mirror 21, then, opens a shutter 22 fully, and the circuit 20 makes a stroboscope 13 emit light via a driving circuit 69. Simultaneously, the circuit 20 applies a prescribed voltage to an electronic developing type recording medium via a driving circuit 41, then, performs development. In this way, it is possible to prevent the voltage from being applied wastefully and to obtain the image of high contrast. |
