PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a monitor for ultrasonic Doppler power which adjusts the Doppler power value for quantified usual device, by processing ultrasonic signal, by assigning quantified measurements of the Doppler power intensity and by allotting colors which correspond to indicates colors at a measured point. SOLUTION: An echo signal is transmitted to Doppler shift data processing apparatus 22 and Doppler shift data processing apparatus 24 through I, Q demodulator 18. Doppler shift data recessing apparatus 22 computes the Doppler phase or frequency shifts by I, Q components at each position of a solid subject of the image scope. The value of the solid subject is transmitted to speed image processor 26 which maps onto values of colors and to indication processor 30 which arranges values of colors spatially on requested image systems. Color values are indicated as picture elements on indication device 40. Each color shows a specified flow of speed in a specified direction. |
