<p>PURPOSE: To provide a gas insulated switching apparatus which can carry out a cable withstand voltage test in a small testing space and in a short operating time while maintaining a high quality. CONSTITUTION: A cable lead-in type gas insulated switching apparatus contains a vacuum breaker 1, a disconnector 2 with a ground switching unit, a ground switch 3 and a cable head 4 for constituting a predetermined receiving circuit in a tank 5, fills insulation gas, and comprises a disconnecting unit 8 in a main circuit between the head 4 and a receiving side EDS2, which is normally 'on'. A testing cable head 10 is installed at the side of the unit 8, and its terminal is connected to the terminal of the head 4 via a bypass conductor. When testing a cable DC withstand voltage, the unit 8 is set to 'off', a test cable is connected to the head 10, and a test voltage is applied from a test power source to a power cable under test (lead-in cable).</p> |
