The connector block (3) is of small thickness and has protected connectors to guard against electrocution. A cubical block (4) with female connections on each of its six surfaces allows assembly at 90 or 180 degrees for several fitments and a ramped piece may allow several side connections. The connector block and the cubical block are shaped to improve the assembly with respective projections (5) and reinforcements (6). A closure block using plastic male pins may be used to block off unconnected sockets in the cube. A spacer between a fitment and its connector block may be used to support the assembly with hooks, eyelets, flat strip, clip or similar, perhaps to illuminate a display board.
