PURPOSE: To obviate the necessity of the protective cover of an insulator which has been necessary at the time of moving an apparatus and to eliminate the labor for enhancing gas pressure after arriving at a site by reducing the gas pressure of the apparatus at the time of moving. CONSTITUTION: In an on-vehicle mobile substation for an on-vehicle switching unit, a transformer or a switchboard used by branching a wire via an overhead transmission line, a polymer bushing 20 in which polymer fins 22 are provided on a glass fiber cloth pipe 21 is used as a bushing for connecting the line of an apparatus. The polymer bushing has about 1/5 of the weight as compared with that of the ceramic bushing of the operation. Since the bushing is provided on the upper part of the apparatus, the apparatus becomes light, and its center of gravity is lowered. Thus, a vehicle is hardly overturned. Since the polymer bushing is tough, the protective cover at the time of moving is eliminated. If it is damaged, it is not scattered by the internal gas pressure, and hence the gas pressure at the time of moving is not necessarily lowered. |
