Roller bearing assembly containing a housing with bore which supports a support ring with cylindrical inner face. The support ring (5) is resiliently bendable with thin walls and has an outer face (11) with two diametrically opposite support sections (13,18,23) across the direction of the radial strain (F). These support sections are supported on a support face (14,20) of the housing bore (2) in the direction of the radial load. At least one of the two support sections is mounted for sliding displacement across this direction on its support face (14,20,26). USE/ADVANTAGE - Roller bearing. Individual roller bodies on the circumference of the housing bore are not over strained even when the assembly has a relatively high radial load.
