PURPOSE: To provide a fluororesin coated material obtd. by forming physical ruggedness, etc., or ruggedness by coating parts on a fluororesin coated material or forming bright patterns (graduations, characters, graphics, ornamental patterns and their combinations, etc.) without degrading the non-tacky adhesiveness of a fluororesin coating layer and adhesiveness to a base material and a production method thereof. CONSTITUTION: The patterns formed by discoloring the fluororesin of irradiated parts are formed by irradiating a base material consisting of metal or ceramics with a laser beam of a wavelength having substantially no absorption at the fluororesin and having absorption at this base material on the surface of the fluororesin coating layer of the fluororesin coated material formed with the fluororesin coating layer on the base material. The patterns are formed on the fluororesin coated material formed with the fluororesin coating layer on the base material consisting of the metal or ceramics by irradiating this material with the laser beam of the wavelength having substantially no absorption at the fluororesin and having absorption at the base material, thereby discoloring the fluororesin of the irradiated parts. |
