摘要

PURPOSE: To produce a cycloolefin at a reaction rate higher than that of a monocyclic aromatic hydrocarbon efficiently in an industrially useful manner. CONSTITUTION: In a method for producing a cycloolefin by partially reducing a monocyclic aromatic hydrocarbon with hydrogen in the presence of a ruthenium catalyst and water, the characteristic of the method for producing the cycloolefin comprises using water having <=5,000μg/L dissolved oxygen concentration.
